Thanks and New Question re Kurosawa's "Quiet Duel"

Just looking at the production company details for these films makes me
wonder if there are some clashes between the producers
about distribution (particularly with Mosfilm I wouldn't be surprised).
 Then again, Rhapsody in August came in for a lot of criticism for being
anti-American.  Donald Richie certainly told me that that was a dominant
(not his necessarily) US reading of the film.
