DearKinejapaners,Could I askfor some help in editing a translation of an article on Japanese FilmExhibition in Moscow in 1929.
The piece byDan. Rafalovich has a paragraph on film books shown at the exhibition.A rawtranslation goes :-“ThePoetics of the Script” by Takada Akaro and ‘Rhythm in Film’ is a big andserious work that is around 200 pages long. ‘Introduction to Proletarian CinemaArt’ by the Japanese proletarian writer Tomoiossa.”Thesecond, incomplete sentence is straightforward to identify, the author being MURAYAMA Tomoyoshi 村山知義 (1901-1977), and thebook, 『プロレタリア映画入門』前衛書房 1928.I’m also prettysure that the first author is TAKEDA Akira 武田晃, and the book 映畫十二講 : 附・映畫用語辞典,1925.But what’sthis ‘Rhythm in Film’ book - I feel I ought to know. From the date, it has tobe about editing.  I suppose it could bea translation.
Comments andsuggestions, please.  Russian originalbelowRoger
