[KineJapan] Education and Patriotism

The Asian Pacific Journal Japan Focus has just uploaded an introduction and translation to the MBS documentary "Education and Patriotism” broadcast in July 2017. The translation was done by Collin Rusneac and the introduction by Sven Saalar. A transcript is also included. 

Not only is the topic quite important, given fears that the educational system is again being used to inculcate particular forms of patriotism in Japan, but frankly there are not many examples of subtitled versions of Japanese TV documentaries that are readily available.
