[KineJapan] Symposium - Theorizing Anime: Invention of Concepts and Conditions of Their Possibility

We posted the CFP here about three months ago, so apologies for the delay;
lots of last minute changes. Mitsuhiro Yoshimoto and I are hosting a
symposium at Waseda University campus next weekend, November 16-17, titled
Theorizing Anime. Some really excellent people are giving talks on various
aspects related to Japanese animation, including keynotes by Mark Wolf and
Marc Steinberg, and a special talk on animation direction by Takashi
Otsuka, the director of One Piece: Stampede.

I know this is last minute for many of you, but if you are in Tokyo or know
someone who is, feel free to attend or spread the word. Anyone is welcome
to attend, and no pre-registration or attendance fee is required. Details
