Dear All,
I hope everybody is safe and healthy during these unprecedented times.
I'm actually writing to you all because I'm facing a problem directly
connected to the current situation, and can't seem to find a solution.
PhD student in France, I'm currently writing a piece for a French review
specialized in film studies <https://journals.openedition.org/map/>. My
article is a comparison of the evaluation criteria among critics in France
and Japan, based on the reception of *Shoplifters *(Kore-eda being the
subject of my dissertation).
To document my research, I was supposed to go library digging in Japan in
April. Of course I had to cancel, and finally have no access to the sources
I'd planned to check.
I could buy hard copies on Amazon but having it shipped to France is so
expensive, for a few-page piece at best, it isn't an option for me at this
time. I can't really ask anyone to go the library and scan it for me either
given the situation.
There is one piece I was particularly interested in, from *Kinema
Junpo,* although
I haven't seen the article so I have no idea how long it is:
キネマ旬報2018年6月下旬号 N°1782
If anybody has a copy and would kindly even just photograph the piece about
*Shoplifters*, or if you have an idea for a solution - online maybe ? -, I
would be very grateful to hear from you.
Any help will be greatly appreciated - the closer my deadline, the deeper
the gratitude!
Warm regards,
--
