Dear Lorenzo,

I wrote an article about the subtitling and global distribution of
Kurosawa's films a couple of years ago. *Throne of Blood* was the main case
study.

The article is “Subtitles and Audiences: The Translation and Global
Circulation of the Films of Akira Kurosawa” in the *Journal of Film and
Video* 69.2 (Summer 2017). I'd be happy to send a copy if you think it
would be useful.
