[KineJapan] Japan Film Resources Online (JFRO)

VIPO (the Visual Industry Promotion Organization) has been developing a search engine that enables you to search the holdings of five film archives in Japan. The engine is called Japan Film Resources Online (JFRO) and opened for general use on July 4. It enables searches of paper-based materials in the collections of Toei Uzumasa, Shochiku Otani, Kawakita, Matsunaga Bunko, and the Waseda Enpaku. These would include scripts, chirashi, press materials, books, magazines, posters, stills, programs, and other materials. The VIPO announcement is here:
