I am hoping to do some survey work in north-west Spain and northern
Portugal next year for Eurodryas (Euphydyras) aurina (Marsh Fritillary).
This is to help assesing its current European conservation status in an
area that is supposed to be one of its strongholds.

Can anybody help focus this work with knowledge of distribution, habitats,
food-plants, flight period, or contacts in Spain and Portugal that could
assist.

many thanks in anticipation
