El Segundo blue butterfly draft recovery plan

     The U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service has recently released the draft 
     recovery plan for the endangered El Segundo blue butterfly.  This 
     animal is restricted to coastal sand dunes in southwestern Los Angeles 
     County, California.  Protection and management of its habitat and a 
     captive breeding program are the primary goals of the draft recovery
