There has been an ususual influx of southern species this summer at
Point Pelee National Park and area. A mimic was found a few weeks ago on
Pelee Island. Apparently this species is rarely found north of the
Carolinas.

On the Sunday Toronto Rare Bird Hotline, Hugh Currie reported that
fiery skippers and at least 10 buckeyes are being seen daily.
