During 1997, I had the opportunity to make 2 short lepidopterological
trips to Saudi Arabia (31.03-10.04 and 27.10-05.11), and to record some
Macro-Heterocera new for the Saudi Arabian Fauna in the Tabuk-Province :
(Noctuidae) - Euxoa oranaria (=psimmythiosa) - Euxoa anarmodia
(=albiorbis) - Dichagyris singularis - Metlaouia oberthuri (=automna) -
Metalopha liturata - Cerapoda aegyptiaca (=epiphlebs) - Eumichtis lea
(Lasiocampidae) - Lasiocampa grandis (Geometridae) - Pseudopanthera
syriacaria - Crocallis sp. - Calamodes subscudularia - Victoria
?plantei/eremica - and other sp. not yet determined... I should be happy
to have contacts with other lepidopterists interested by the Arabian
Macro-Heterocera.
