uptight/strange/illegal behaviour

well !! already i have seen some truely interesting stories of "odd"
behaviour precipitated by the 'collecting in florida' note. i am very
interested in this topic and would welcome additional descriptions of
such experiences where butterfly watchers or collectors are engaging in
lawful activity but are nonetheless subjected to interesting
bureaucratic behaviour. there seems to be a trend at work here and if i
can amass enough examples i have in mind asking the Lep. Soc. to voice
concerns about this interesting behaviour to senior government officials
