I agree totally. I think the commercial rearers are blinded by their
own biases. Same thing is happening in the world of parrots, where
loads of people breed and raise them but no re-intro attempts have
ever worked, yet people claim they are contributing to preservation
of the spp. ARGH!
Not to mention all the OTHER species that got bulldozed when the area
was developed..... sigh.
