Skipper Cross Breeding

While out at lunch on Wednesday (6/17/98), I spotted a Long Dash (Polites
mystic) mating with a European Skipper (Thymelicus lineola).  The two were
paired for 30 minutes, anyway.  Now, whether anything results from this or
not, I will never know.  The P. mystic was the only one of it's kind (that I
saw) amongst dozens of T. lineola.  I'm sure this is a common phenomenon,
but thought it was worth mentioning anyway.
