another recommended equipment supplier

A few folks have thanked me for the Czech insect pin supplier tip, and
asked if I know other little-known sources for entomology supplies. There
is one local fellow, John Rose, who is an equipment engineer, and designs
and manufactures some really top-notch stuff, solid and durable. Myself,
I've replaced a lot of my older equipment with things I bought from him - a
net, aspirator, specimen manipulator, and pinning block - and those and the
other things (including mercury vapor lights) he makes are great. He's got
a webpage, http://www.biohaven.com/bus/rose/
which lists most, if not all, of what he offers.

Peace,
