Plume moths in Pennsylvania?

Yes. There are a number of species of the family Pterophoridae whose
range includes Pennsylvania, according to Forbes 'Lepidoptera of New
York and Neighboring States', Part 1. There is no specific mention of
_eastern_ Pennsylvania--but ranges like "Massachusetts to North Carolina'
probably include eastern Pennsylvania, and New Jersey is given for
several species, some of which may extend into Pennsylvania.
