Caterpillar ID (Agrius convolvuli ???)

Hello,

at  http://www.schmetterling-raupe.de/convolv.htm

is shown a picture of a caterpillar which was brought to me last Wednesday .
I live in the south of Germany near the Lake of Constance.

Is it a black form of the caterpillar of Agrius convolvuli ? I didn't find
such a form in the literature available to me !
