The old standard was Ridgeway: 'Color Standards and Color Nomen-
clature', 1912. This is long out of print, and copies are handed down like
heirlooms from the few people who have them.
A useful, and inexpensive, book is: Reinhold Color Atlas, by A.
Kornerup and J. H. Wanscher, Reinhold Publishing Corporation, 1962. This
is no doubt O.P. as well, but used copies may turn up. Most (but not all)
of the color swatches have unique names, as well as numerical designations.
