I believe in evolution and I think that it's the most commonly accepted
theory for the moment.

I agree that the more centered groups of catholic believe in evolution, it
is not at all antagonic with the bible. The bible uses pictures to explain
the people the creation, all is born from nothing, but the seven days are
only a picture, nobody nows exaclty how many days that's has taken ...

I think in USA as in Europe there is a class of "Science history" wher it is
possible, and very interesting, to explain to the students what were the
theories in the past, and not only that but also why those theories were
invented (discovered) and why those theories falls down. After a good class
of science history, probably this sterile discussion falls down also.
Creationism movement is only a proof that our society lacks of "Historical
Society Memory".
