Killing MOTHS for fun

I've weakened in my resolve not to enter this thread  to make the trivial 
observation that hepialid, saturniid, and cossid moths, among others no 
doubt, have the 'fun' of starving to death - if they don't get eaten first. 
Maybe someone already mentioned this, but I have not kept up with every 
positing.
