Courting

A couple of weeks ago I was out in the yard and saw both gulf fritillaries
and skippers courting. One sitting, the other fluttering nearby. I have
cabbage whites in my yard all the time, but I don't remember ever seeing
them courting. What butterflies have people seen court? Sally
