Speaking of birds, I have a question which I know is off topic, but I 
know there are birders on this list who might be able to answer it. I 
was attempting to locate Kuligi, Poland for another reason. When I did a 
search on the internet it came up with accounts of bird expeditions to 
Kuligi. This surprised me. Is there something unique about Kuligi 
ornithologically, or is it just a matter of some endemics plus cheap 
accomodations and travel in the country?
