BALL TICKET SALES:
Advance tickets:  $15 until 6pm on Friday February 22nd at the McDougal Center
Box office, HGS 123.

To Pre-order advance Ball tickets, go online at
www.yale.edu/mcdougal/studentlife, click on Winter Ball Tix, complete the form,
then pay at the McDougal Box Office @ 123 HGS, 320 York Street, Mon-Fri 10a-5p.

Extended box office hours til 7pm Feb 20 & 21.

Cash or check, made out to Yale University, accepted.
The McDougal center can not accept online or credit card payments at
this time, due to university accounting constraints.

Tickets at the Door:
$20 at the door on February 23rd at the Lawn Club, if supplies allow, so
purchase your tickets early!

Last year over 500 students attended, so we may need to limit ticket
sales based on Lawn club capacity.

BALL GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Fellows and Staff of Grad Student Life @ the McDougal Center are
pleased to bring you the 8th Annual McDougal Winter Ball at the New Haven Lawn
Club on Saturday February 23rd, 2008 from 9pm-2am!

In the lovely Grand Ballroom, the rocking Steve Atwood band (featuring the med
school's own Dr. Len Kaczmarek on guitar) will be playing pop & rock hits,
followed by our favorite DJ Awesome playing contemporary dance music from
11:30pm- 2am. This year will again feature a choco-licious dessert reception at
10pm, with all kinds of sweets and cakes, included in the ticket price.  There
will be a Cash Bar, and complimentary coffee and water available. 21+ and over
for all students and their guests.

Who can attend: All graduate and professional students, postdoctoral fellows,
faculty and staff and their spouses, partners and guests are welcome to
attend.  Come with a group of friends or bring your significant other. Dates are
welcome, but not required and we expect to have many singles at the ball, so
bring your friends and make some new ones.

Suggested Attire:  Dressy or cocktail attire, or national dress costume, is
suggested, but not required. You DO NOT need to rent a tux or wear a ballgown,
but you can dress up if you like!

PARKING & SHUTTLES
Free parking at the Lawn Club, or free shuttle from/to Grad Dorms, or take the
Yale Nighttime Minibus.  Please DO NOT drive to the event if you will be
drinking.
