New, award-winning documentary details life of photographer Ernie Paniccioli, who snapped hip hop's first baby steps. Ernie Paniccioli is an American photographer of hip hop culture. He is a Cree Native American, and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. His photography of hip hop began in the 1970s with shots of graffiti in New York.
Winner of the New York Big Apple Film Festival Best Documentary Film, 'The Other Side Of Hip-Hop showcases HIP-HOP from the beginning! Featuring Chuck D., Afrika Bambaataa, MC Lyte, and many many others this film tells the full story!
