Is this for shipping purpose? If we need a value for a mount we call a
taxidermy shop and ask them what they would charge for this mount. The last
bald eagle we had mounted cost us $100.00, but it was done flying with a
special rig for an exhibit. That was some years back too. Hope this helps.

Folks:  

I've been asked to help the USFWS determine the value of a bald eagle mount.
What the agent is interested in is the value assigned to such a mount for
insurance purposes.  Does anyone out there have such a value assigned to a
full mount in their collections?  Would you be willing to share that
information?
