[Yulcat-l] Best Practices for Queer Metadata

Hi All,

I wanted to share that the Queer Metadata Collective (QMDC) has released version 1.0 of Best Practices for Queer Metadata<https://repositories.lib.utexas.edu/items/14a8673b-7830-44a0-891d-c0ac0dd7582c>, a document which offers general guidance for the metadata treatment of resources by and about LGBTQ+ communities. Version 1.0 includes detailed recommendations for classification, subject heading, name and authorities, and linked data applications.

If anyone has comments, questions, etc. regarding the Best Practices document, I am happy to answer them and/or bring them to the QMDC.
